Hi everyone,
I wanted to make the first official post here and introduce SimHaven.
SimHaven is a community project built around bringing back the feeling of The Sims Online and keeping that experience alive for the people who still miss it. The game meant a lot to so many of us, and when FreeSO came along, it gave players the chance to step back into that world again.
That is the heart behind SimHaven.
I am still learning the ropes of everything. There is a lot to figure out, a lot to build, and probably plenty of things I will have to learn the hard way. But my heart is in this project. I want SimHaven to be a place where people can come back, reconnect, build lots, skill together, make new memories, and help keep the community active.
I also want to give credit and thanks to the FreeSO project. Without the years of work put in by Rhys Simpson, the FreeSO developers, contributors, creators, moderators, and community members, something like SimHaven would not be possible. FreeSO gave many of us a chance to experience The Sims Online again, and that work deserves to be remembered and appreciated.
This is not about pretending to be something bigger than it is. SimHaven is starting as a small fan-run project with a lot of care behind it. I know how much this game meant to people, because it meant that much to me too.
My goal is to keep things moving, keep people updated, and build something that feels welcoming. News, downloads, updates, community posts, and anything else important will be shared here as the project grows.
Thank you to everyone who has shown interest, offered help, shared memories, or simply said they were excited to see something like this exist again. That means more than you know.
SimHaven is just getting started, and I am excited to see where it goes.
