These rules apply to the SimHaven Discord and, where relevant, to in-game activity and other official SimHaven spaces.
1. Community Conduct
Treat other members with respect. Harassment, bullying, targeted provocation, witch-hunting, discrimination, racism, sexism, hate speech, or encouraging others to pile onto someone are not allowed.
Do not deliberately bypass another player's ignore list, lot ban, or other attempt to end contact.
Public channels should remain in English unless a channel is specifically designated for another language.
Individual channels may have additional guidelines based on their purpose. Please follow any rules posted within them.
2. Appropriate Content
Do not post pornographic, nude, erotic, overtly sexual, or strongly suggestive material. This includes explicit screenshots or imagery involving Sims.
Do not share graphic violence, cruelty, gore, or other seriously disturbing content.
SimHaven is an adults-only community. Members must be at least 18 years old to participate.
3. Privacy
Respect the privacy of other members.
Do not share another person's real name, usernames, location, workplace, social media accounts, or other personal information without permission.
Do not publicly post screenshots of private conversations or direct messages without the consent of everyone involved.
4. Spam and Channel Disruption
Do not flood channels with repeated messages, excessive posting, or the same content across multiple channels.
Use mentions responsibly. Do not repeatedly ping members, misuse @everyone or @here, or use assignable roles to draw unnecessary attention.
In voice channels, avoid disruptive sounds, excessive background noise, audio feedback, echoing, shouting, or abusive behavior. Members who repeatedly disrupt voice chat may be muted or removed from the channel.
5. Piracy and Unauthorized Material
Do not request, provide, or link to serial numbers, cracks, warez, pirated software, or other materials intended to bypass ownership or licensing requirements.
6. Personal Disputes
Moderators generally will not intervene in ordinary disagreements or personal conflicts between members.
Staff may step in when a dispute involves harassment, threats, privacy violations, bypassing ignore or lot-ban features, deliberate provocation, or another violation of these rules.
7. Gameplay Conduct
Do not deliberately interfere with Job Lot gameplay. Trolling, obstructing other players, preventing the lot from functioning, or intentionally disrupting a job session may result in moderation action.
8. Bugs and Exploits
Report bugs and possible exploits privately to a moderator or developer.
Do not knowingly use bugs, exploits, duplication methods, or unintended game behavior for personal gain or to affect other players.
9. Real-Money Transactions
SimHaven accounts, Simoleons, items, lots, services, or other in-game benefits may not be bought or sold for real money.
Participating in real-money trading may result in a permanent ban.
10. Reserved Names
Names associated with SimHaven's systems or administration are reserved.
Players may not use names such as MOMI or DADDI, or names intended to impersonate official systems, staff members, or developers. Deliberate impersonation may result in a permanent ban.
